OCR Wire Obstacle – Double – Classic equipment on OCR courses
NOORD’s version of the classic OCR Wire Obstacle – Double on the OCR course is made of rust-protected, powder-coated steel with attached taifun ropes, similar to the other training equipment in the OCR series. This equipment is extremely durable and resistant to wear. The rust protection ensures that the steel does not corrode, even when exposed to rain and humidity, while the powder coating provides a smooth and even surface. The OCR Wire Obstacle – Double consists of nine 50 cm high posts made of ø114 mm steel pipe. At the top of the steel pipe, a flange is welded, where 12 taifun ropes are securely attached. Taifun ropes are ultra-durable despite wear, wind, and weather. The rope is a steel wire coated with nylon, which prevents it from tearing clothing and skin.
OCR Wire Obstacle – Double requires users to crawl under the taifun ropes with great agility while maintaining balance and moving quickly forward. On this double equipment, two individuals can navigate it simultaneously, which is a great advantage if the course is used for competitions. This equipment requires a combination of strength, balance, and coordination to navigate through it with ease.
